On Tuesday, February 21 and Wednesday, February 22 the first annual Amgen Tour of California raced its way through San Jose. For the Spartan Daily, it was a great opportunity to attempt our first online multimedia project; tons of action, crowd noise, etc.

While there is much improvement to be had, it is an important step in a direction that makes our school newspaper more relevant and teaches its staff more of the tools that will be needed upon graduation.
