About two weeks ago I had my first correction. It was for the caption in this photo:

It was a stupid mistake made even worse by the fact that I had the roster right in front of my face. I incorrectly identified #23 Adam Kampsen. I had to fill out some forms, describe the mistake, why it happened, how to avoid it. I definitely was embarrassed and upset with myself, even nervous to go out on the next assignment in case I screwed up again.

Luckily, I have not made a mistake in the newspaper since.
