So far I’ve seen state wrestling and basketball season, and now… it is Prom season (and spring, fortunately).

I have been working on a project with one of the online editors at the Register on a multimedia project on couples who eventually ended up marrying their prom dates. Right now I am going through the audio we gathered for the project and it reminds me again why I enjoy being in journalism. Hearing these stories from people who grew up in realities that were different from mine, hearing what they did at the time, thought at the time, wore, watched, played, etc. has been incredibly enjoyable.

I had better keep this post short though, as I should have finished this piece…. yesterday. Hopefully I will have something to post from the project later tonight or tomorrow.
