Today I learned something that I am sure will prove useful for the remainder of my time in St. Cloud.

In many of the small towns that I drive through there are posted speed limits of 35 or 40 miles per hour. However, as you leave that town, a sign reads, end 35 mph zone. On a few occassions, I have been unable to find a sign stating what the limit was then for that area. I learned that this does NOT mean that there is no speed limit. According to my photo editor, Dave Schwarz, the limit for these areas is 55 mph.

I will be sure not to drive 80 down County Road 1 on the way to Bowlus next time.
